Y's Corporate Challenge Hails Repeat Champions

For the fourth consecutive year, Strickler Agency won the Chambersburg Memorial YMCA's Cardio Capture Corporate Cup Championship on Saturday, February 9th, 2013. The proceeds raised for the event went to fund the YMCA's Sam's and Achievers programs.

This year’s competition included five teams competing in the following events: Bean Bag Toss, Pickle Ball, Shuffle Board and Ladder Ball. Orrstown Bank finished in second place with 1219 points and Aerotek captured third place with 1153 points.  The five teams, which also included Paul Davis Emergency Services and F & M Trust, raised $3,241.

The YMCA’s Sam’s program provides over 350 children with free full privilege YMCA memberships, Tuesday night programs during the school year and 8 weeks of free day camping experiences during the summer time.  While the YMCA’s Youth Achievers program, prepares student in 8^th – 12^th with for post-secondary education.

The Chambersburg YMCA would like to congratulate all participating businesses and persons in supporting our community's and youth's development. A special thank you to all of the volunteers who helped run the event.
